| so patrick and justin said that 'you oughta know' (that alanis morissette song) is about dave coulier, which i didn't know. apparently it's not 100% confirmed, but it might as well be. so i read the lyrics to the song. that's a pretty brutal song, i'll tell you what. i'd hate to be dave coulier and know that there's a copy of that song in every third house in america. i bet it sucks even worse to know that someone else's multi-million dollar career got started by publicly ripping you a new asshole. |

| last night was totally weird. we got to the show (which was at a comic book store) and saw a flyer that said, 'live music tonight! also appearing: richard kelly, writer/director of donnie darko.' we were like, 'whaaaaaat!?' so, it turns out that we opened up for richard kelly. he showed a short clip of his new movie and the awesome part about that was that the comic store owner didn't know what was up with the projector (it was way quiet), so i was like, 'uhhh, hey, do you want me to hook that up to our pa?' and so, the director of donnie darko thinks i'm awesome now. he also thinks cowalker is awesome. there was way more stuff that happened that made the night even more awesome, but i can't really remember because i got like three hours of sleep and i'm totally out of it, but yeah, by the end of the night he was basically like, thanks, i owe you one. i suggested that i score his next film for him. let's see how that turns out haha. so, i'd say that's a pretty good way to end a tour. |
